This is an English summary of the legally binding German Datenschutzerklärung.
Protecting your personal data matters to me. This website is a pure information and profile site: it sets no cookies, embeds no tracking, analytics or marketing services, and serves all fonts locally from its own server. The following provides information pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR.

2. Hosting (Cloudflare)
This website is provided and delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access the site, technically necessary access data transmitted by your browser is processed, in particular IP address, date and time of access, the requested resource and the user agent. This serves the secure and stable provision of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare. For transfers to the USA, Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. Access data is stored only for as long as necessary for the operation and security of the website and is then deleted or anonymized.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website uses no cookies and no analytics, tracking or advertising technologies. No usage profiles are created.
4. Fonts
The font used (Raleway) is served locally from this server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other third parties; in particular, your IP address is not transmitted to any third party.
5. Contact by email
If you email me, I process the data you provide (email address, content, possibly your name) solely to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the rights to:
- access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16) and erasure (Art. 17);
- restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20);
- object to processing (Art. 21).
7. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, generally the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestr. 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognizable by “https://” in your browser's address bar.
